am I alone in hating the horrible screeching signature 'tune' for the one show, don't mind the show and like the way Dom sorts things out, but oh that awful noise to start with.

Can't bear the theme, can't stand the show. It's bland TV for bland people

no caslass not at all. there's a place for soaps, many people enjoy that mix of the mundane and the absurdly dramatic. The One Show is like someone's decided to spend huge amounts of money making a TV version of one of those freebie magazines that have shallow articles about a pointless mix of subjects none of which get any meaningful treatment. It's like a tasteless synthetic cake
