What's the biggest difference you can find? Mine is Rollerball, original 6.5, remake 2.7. IMDB scores.

with the help of a bit of googling, I came across Mr Blandings Builds his Dream House (7.2) and Are We Done Yet? (3.1). But I'd never actually heard of that one. The really dreadful ones I have seen, like Alfie and Get Carter, get quite high scores from IMDB.
I've just found one that edges yours - the Wicker Man 1973 - 7.8, 2006 - 3.6

The original Wicker Man was soooo scary...!
Yep The Wickerman jumped to mind with me...then I thought of The Italian Job....but no luck...thankfully the 69 version has 7.3, ahead of 6.9 for the 2003 version

Planet of the Apes is a good choice though

1968 version 8.0
2001 version - 5.5
How about Psycho

Org 1960 version ranking #22 on the IMDbTop 250 with 8.7
