Twizzle was great,so go to www.sixtiescity.com ,Enter, click on other 60s tv shows+ history,Gerry Anderson productions, and wallow in nostalgia.
Twizzle definitely existed (as much as an imaginary thing can exist) and I can certainly remember him. He didn't have permanently long arms, but arms that extended by some sort of screw mechanism. There's loads about him on the Net.
Was this about the same time as Torchy? "Torchy, Torchy the Battery Boy ..."
Now that does bring back good memories!
And it was his legs that extended..
HHAHA My friend was called Twizzle by his parents now I know why! I still call him Twizzle too and I am 39
Fourfeather falls was great, bring e'm all back!
Am I the only one who found Twizzle really scary when I was a very small child? The thought of it still freaks me now!!!
Remember it well.Vist www.whirligig-tv.co.uk .A good site for all 1950'/60's children and adult tv nostalgia. Should give your dad a memory jolt it did me. Shows pictures and theme tunes. Enjoy
