bibble from your lips to my ears. :-)

You obviously don't appreciate good comedy. What is there to laugh at in some films now . Most are just a load of rubbish.
Well i'm with you Wendilla :-)

Big fan of Norman Wisdom, saw him on stage a couple of times and he was fantastic!
Agreed that most these days are rubbish; that doesn't make Norman Wisdom films any better.
Put him and Charlie Drake in a sack and fling both of them.

Didn't say they were any better it was just a comment that the older films had good comedy and with something to laugh at.You can still get good films but not with the same comedy you get in the Norman filmsand some others from that era.
Never got Wisdom lots of throwing himself around and screeching. Lee Evans really.
I love the old films wendilla - although norman wisdom wouldnt be my cup of
tea but you cant beat them. Comedies nowadays are all sexual innuendo - not
even funny sexual innuendo - not even innuendo - just not funny at all -

Lee Evans will never be a patch on Norman. Now he really does make a fool of hinself. My daughter thinks he;s fantastic. Didn't get her sense of humour from me lol

How right you are PERICAT.
I can't stand Lee Evans, Norman Wisdom was a one off. True they don't make films like they used to. Hobson's Choice with John Mills was a good one, also the Hollywood films of the 50's and 60's were extravagant and good entertainment.
I've got all his Films on DVD,best comedian ever.
I'm a Laurel and Hardy man myself
Glad I'm not alone then! can't stand Lee Evans, it's not the same at all.
askyourgran - agree hobson's Choice is a good film too, and great book.
