She's one of several female celebs who've noticeably lost their looks lately, including Honeysuckle Weeks and Catherine Zeta-Jones. sadly she has kept her awful squawky voice. Huq has always come across as someone who craves attention, especially from men. They could hardly get her out of a bikini or low-cut tops when she presented children's telly - so I'm not sure appropriateness is her thing either. She also used to date Richard Bacon...enough said. I think she's a very ordinary presenter whose ethnicity may have had more to do with her record-breaking run on Blue Peter than anything else. Her post BP career has been fair to dismal, and I can't see her going down well with Xtra Factor viewers for long.

Seems ridiculous to me. I know a couple of women who are heartbroken, I personally can't stand either of them. So they are welcome to each other if it is indeed real.

They are welcome to each other. I thought CH was a dreadful BP presenter, she always sounded as though she was reading her lines from a script (or the autocue). And so breathy ..... And she wasn't much better at presenting programmes after she left BP.

Charlie Brooker is a very rude word in my vocabulary. He presents stuff and is generally a complete elbow and rude. She was a blue peter presenter. Both rubbish!

Charlie Brooker is one of those people - along with Mark Radcliffe, Stuart Maconie, and Clive james, whose writing skills I envy deeply.

I also like all of them as TV presenters, and I always thought Konnie Huq is hot, so i am even more envious now!!!
