Film title - killer car driver

Hi, I'm looking for the title of a film in which a car driver goes around killing people.  It was set late at night and the car had blackened windows?  Nothing supernatural, so not Christine or anything like that.

Any ideas?

Hi, yes I thought it might be that, but was told that the driver of the car is never seen.

You do see the driver in Highwaymen.  He's crippled so he mods his car to become a kind of man-machine.  It's a bit crap actually.

Sorry AndrewHunt, my grammar was a bit lax.  I meant that in the film I've been asked to look for the driver is never seen.
