Anybody know what happened to Penny Spencer who played Sharon in the early Please Sir episodes?
She made quite and impact on a pubescent teenager!
She seems to have never surfaced after this role.

Looking through that page, she was still around in 2001 when she attended the funeral of Malcom McFee (who played Peter Craven), and someone else reckons that she lives in Essex.

IMDB has her down as last working as an actress in 1979 http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0818063/
