will it make any sense if i saw the first one when it first came out (so can't remember what happens properly), and haven't seen the second?

yeh, the story doesnt really carry on from the second, it will make sense. hope you enjoy it! :-)

i'm seeing it with my friend and his 8 year old brother on sunday . . . .
borrow the dvds off someone. it's worth it :o)
i thought it was fantastic, i didnt really know what to expect but i was surprised at the story line, its a bit different to 1 & 2. :-)

yes . . . the storyline of the first one . . . . . .
It was our film of the year so far. We thought it was brilliant. We saw it in 3D, but 2D would have been just as good. Storyline was really good and OH, I and our two friends all shed a little tear at the end. We loved the little twists ... sometimes wondered who it was aimed at - us adults or the kids ..... There were all sorts of things that I read about afterwards that I hadn't even noticed when watching the film. The thing with the family dog (Oscar?), Andy going to college etc, and the wonderful bit with Buzz!
some friends said that their children were frightened at some parts of it.

i'm sure you'll be alright molly, they were quite young.
