first 5 mins of Creep

I went to see Creep at the cinema and missed the first 5 minutes (before the scene when she is at the party). What happened then please? I feel I may have missed info explaining why/who/what 'creep' is.

it was a scene of 2 underground sewage workers one of them getting mullered, but you didnt see by who/what. then it went to the party scene, towards the end when she is in those water cages, the black guy was the survivor of the 2 sewage workers

londondave is spot on, but I wanted to add that you didn't miss any information as to what the Creep is - that was made evident later on in the film when you saw that he used to be a surgeon (did you miss that bit too?!)

IndieSinger - i saw the stuff later on about what Creep was, i just wondered if i'd missed any additional info. However, I understood it not that Creep was the surgeon, but that he was one of the surgeons 'experiments'. There was a label saying 'Craig' on one of the cots and later on Kate sees the Creep's wristband which says Craig. Also, the photo that she looks at is of the surgeon with a young strange looking child who looks like a smaller version of Creep. I just wondered if it was explained what exactly happened for him to be left abandoned down there.
