I rarely watch Emmerdale, but awhile ago I caught an episode where this woman who kept her ill dad locked up. She is still a main character in the series. I recognised her from an early 80s sitcom. Who is she?

It is Lorraine Chase - she did the Campari adverts ages ago and was in a 'comedy' I think it was called something like Lame Ducks (quite apt from what I remember)

The sitcom Lorraine starred in was "The Other Arf".She's 54, I think she looks like a ventriloquists dummy with all that make up and those eyelashes!
