Saw Judy Finnegan on TV earlier this morning .

Now , really i'm not criticising her for her looks ( none of us have got control over how we age ) , but isn't she looking old and a bit haggard , for her age .

I thought she had plastic surgery or am i incorrect on that score ?

I think Judy's great. She only looks 'old' cos she sits next to her younger fit-for-his-age husband....
I have noticed her hands shake a lot and she fiddles with her neck, necklace an awful lot - which is a sign of nervousness. But she's still a great tv presenter - whether her shakes are a benign tremor or due to the gin - who cares. Poor woman gets far too much stick about her looks, weight, size etc.

She looks like a normal 60 year old woman with a bit of extra weight. No Botox, no face lifts,(look at Lulu the other week - bride of Frankenstein!) she has health problems so probably can't spend time in the gym. Weight is very aging.

If she has got health problems , then of course that could account for her not looking her best

The only health problems that have been reported, is she had knee surgery a few months back.

I have'nt watched 'This Morning' since they left.

I can remember Judy way back when she was a reporter on About Anglia .
She's my age, 62. She also has a life behind her .
I don't look like I did back in the 70's but I scrub up well on a good day :)

I think she suffers with arthritis and had a knee job recently and problems with her eyes according to that rag The Daily Wail .
So if she's in pain it's going to show in her face .It certainly does in mine .
And if she likes a drink ,so what .
Nothing to do with us what she does in her private life .
I so dislike this cult of criticising the appearance of people who are in the public eye . Nobody looks 100% ..100% of the time .

Shaneystar...........I haven´t accused her of having a drink.

I was making a generalised statement about the effects of alcohol abuse...I have a drink, Mrs Sqad has a drink, but excess alcohol does have a deleterious affect on the body.

No it is "nothing to do with us"....I couldn´t care a "t0ss" myself, but was just contributing to the post.

Other posters also referred to the fact that Judy may like a drink .

Shaney, I can so relate to those pictures of Judy. On days when I am tired and 'hurt all over' I reckon I look just like that, baggy eyed, lined and drawn, and just as bloomin' miserable. On other days I can really look quite good - but they are getting rarer!!

I don't like women 'of a certain age' being criticised for their weight, looks etc. Men don't get all that bullcr@p.

True Salla, and the ones that criticise older women are usually pot bellied, jowelly (sp.) individuals who look as if they need a whole new wardbrobe of clothes.

He does have an impressive pair of moobs though craft. But the chest hair somehow makes them look better than if they were hairless.

I think I'll need a stiff drink watching him ....bugger the wrinkles
