Ruthless or thoughtless?
I can never understand the fuss about Alan Sugar. i`ve watched the Apprentice in the States with Donald Trump. Now that is a businessman. But Alan Sugar and Amstrad? Purleese
I bought a lot of his shoddy gear in the amstrad years :[
Nearly had my blood on the front of his Roller once....BTW the plane is probably his sons, cos he is in the air charter business.
boxtops, both and worse, arrogant in the extreme, this is exactly the image of a succesful busnessman and a sadly failed and lacking individual, I would never exchange his wealth for my integrity and compassion
plus, he still looks like teddy ruxpin

OK, so I was wrong on the plane, but his son DOES run an air charter firm
One of these days Prudie's gonna say she actually likes someone...anyone!

Question Author
i think he seems a nice enough fella.

our next but one neighbour were at a wedding a couple of months ago and sir al and his wife was there too, as guests.
they sat chatting to him, and thought how he came across as really nice person. very down to earth and friendly.
met him twice, short tempered, shirty and arrogant
Question Author
lol, youre not struck on him are you pru,
i dont know why, but i just get a gut feeling you dont like him ...... lol
Question Author
he speaks highly of you ;o)
I read about him in todays Daily Maul. He had a tough upbringing, his father was very mean, and from that lowly upbringing he developed a massive chip on his shoulder. In his autobiography he says that he never experience any warmth or closeness from his parents.
Sorry, can't be dishonest and pretend admiration for an arrogant so-and so. To put the record straight, I have also met, maureen lipman, michael barry, felicity kendall, penelope keith, richard branson and clive james, all of whom were delightful, warm and friendly, very ordinary people, relaxed and happy to chat, bruce forsythe was a different kettle of fish, unless you are prepared to grovel at the feet of the untouchable, don't bother!
Question Author
noones asking you to pretend prudentia.

you say what you like about him :o) makes no difference to me....

i still think he seems a nice fella. ive not got a problem with him.
Question Author
ps - what was the record that needed putting straight by the way?
