someone suggested he started to say katie and then changed it to hun...

or the k from luck was a bit too close...

still, sounds like a t on the end eh?
NO
NO
NO
NO he did not say it. - He's got far too much to lose, & he's not daft.

jem
Of all the people to choose from he picked Katie....C`mon Dermot you can do better!
Where's this come from!!!

He said "Good luck hon ..." it's as clear as day.

Some peole just like to hear things that are not there, and get a school-boy snigger out of them.
I hate 'hun/hon' almost as much as the 'c' word anyway.
robina...................id rather be called hun!

its all over the net andy...i didnt see it myself
I know it is joko - I watched your link - only needed to hear it once, it's clear as a bell to me.

Why do people pretend something when it is very clearly not there. It's not like he mumbled or there was any doubt, it is simply not there.

well...it seems you're in the minority andy, as to most people it sounds very like c**t...its only because we all ''know'' he didnt and wouldnt have said that, that we can be so sure...

i only figured what he was actually saying when someone pointed it out...
Sounded like Hun when I watched it earlier today.
I'm amazed that anyone would even dream that a professional presenter would use a word like that on live television.

Doesn't the fact that there was absolutely no reaction what ever from anyone within earshot tell you that he said 'Good luck hun ...' and that was what everyone around him heard him say.

Otherwise the press would have been all over it - fine for ITV, scandal, exit Dermot - but hey, none of that happened.

People are just looking for a scandal that is in their imagination. Replay your clip and listen - it's perfectly clear.

andy...i dont think anyone ever actually believed he did....it just sounds like it...and its quite a funny clip too

hed have to be an idiot and drunk to have actually called her that.

it was a tongue in cheek question
Did those police officers really use song titles in their evidence?

Nah
OK, I remain baffled as to why anyone would waste any time at all over thie - either thinking about it, or trying to whip up a storm on the net about it - maybe it's a generational thing - I simply have other things to do!

Appreciate that your Question was tongue-in-cheek joko, but of course, that does not come over in print, so i got all of a tizzy over it!

I'm off to relax now ...
