Hi All
I have had a call from Sky this morning, asking if my box is working OK, what box I have (normal, Sky+ or HD) if I have a warranty and to confirm my postcode.
It wasn't until I got off the phone that Sky should know what box I have and also I believe Sky is based in Scotland and this was a call from India.
Should I be worried?

Did you sign up to anything or give them any bank details? If not then I doubt you are at risk.
If they have your postcode they may write to you and try to sell you something.

No, the only info I gave was my postcode and what type of box I have.
Hi, I had a call as well, they knew my full address and I haven't even got Sky!!
I keep getting calls saying my warranty has run out. When i said I wouldn't pay for further cover they were very rude to me. After some thought I rang sky to complain. Their reply to me was "no one from sky had contacted me about extended warranty" So I assume it is a scam to get money and your card details out of you.
