It's snowing where my OH is (maybe I should ask him where he is) he's seen a few crashes already...

He was hoping to be home for 1pm....I think that sounds unlikely now.

We had a light dusting between 5 and 6 a.m. but nothing since.

We had a bit yesterday in this bit of Notts but nothing serious and nothing over night and at the moment it's cold but bright and sunny so fingers crossed and we won't get any. Funnygirl if we do get some can I forward it to you? I hate the stuff

When I popped to the shop at 5.30pm yesterday, all the puddles that had been water at 3.30pm had frozen over.

The snow (more like small polystyrene balls, actually) has stuck in the shadows and north-facing areas............but has thawed in the sun (!?) and to the south.

It wasn't there when I got up to err..........check the plumbing, at 5am; but it was when it was Mrs jth's turn at 6am.

It was blowing a blizzard when I arrived at work (hanley, Stoke-on-Trent) so for the second time in three weeks i fell over, smashed my elbow and wrote off my umbrella, which I've only used once before!

My elbow bled all over my white shirt, so I've had to nip out and buy a new shirt, and will have to get a new brolly.

I firkin hate winter!
