Could anyone not be moved by the Mirror Heroes Awards?

I thoroughly enjoyed it, the question that I must ask is "were the celebrity audience" invited in any particular way, (apart from Prince Charles & Camilla and the politicians that is) and would they be paid?

I thought it was very moving - particularly the officers giving tribute to their men who had died in the course of duty. I would hope that the celebs gave any fee to Help for Heroes - but you never know, that sounds like a Freedom of Information question..

Yes it was very moving and all the military personnel who spoke give their thanks briefly and with dignity. The celebrity audience was similar to the Pride Of Britain Awards maybe they are contracted to do these shows, as long as they contribute to the funds its ok.
