Watch dvd without aerial

I have a tv but no aerial so i can't actually watch it. But if i have a dvd player with it can i still watch them even without a signal?

Oh Yes you can ,But if you have a TV set you should have a TV licence.

You don't need a TV license if your TV is not connected to a TV aerial, a cable or a satellite or a freeview box. (and if you also watch no live broadcasts via the Internet in your house on any other equipment)
