Any one else glad we're all back to normality now? Back to work, Shops open as normal, busses as normal, Traffic as normal, Decorations down, Normal food, Kids back to school as normal Ahhhhh! - Relief.

I'm not one for change.

My son goes back to school tomorrow, apart from that everything is back to normal... and very glad I am about it too!!!
first day back at work :-(
Yeah, apart from the sodding snow which appeared again last night.
Yep, everything back to normal apart from the price increases. I'm trying to do a Tesco delivery order and my weekly shopping cost seems to have risen by about £20.
No snow here yet thankfully B00.
I'm not normal at all - until tomorrow
normal ish but wishing I were back in Wales...
No ones normal, it would be boring!
What's normal?

First day back at work for me. Ugh :-(
First day of a lot of snowfall since before christmas.
Back to dieting & trying to cut down on alcohol.
Back to having to make appointment for session at gym with trainer.

I prefer the holidays.

I know what you mean tigger, - I give myself a budget and I keep going over it then I have to check back to see what I can delete and its getting more and more difficult. Mmmm! I suppose thats normal too eh?

I'm with you on this one Jem. The long drawn-out period of Christmas and New Year is just an unwelcome, monotonous drag. To be honest I hate it and feel nothing but relief when it's all over. Christmas as a religious festival would lose nothing by being celebrated at some other weekend in the year, and possibly have a mid-winter Bank Holiday to celebrate the passing of the shortest day.
I agree it's lovely to be back to the routine.

The only thing I miss is having the Xmas cards up as it it my excuse not to do any dusting
Yes, I'm normal...
I think I'm normal..........but I suppose it would rather depend on which yardstick I am being measured with.......
Yup - this is one of my favourite days of the year - back to normal!
xmas isnt until 6th jan in spain so im keeping up cards and tree until then, we were sent some spanish xmas cards so got to keep the festive period going a bit longer!
I'm trying to adjust to a new normal - no work! Biggest draw back - all the chocs still to be eaten are just screaming out for me!
Question Author
JB Our boxes of chocs are screamers too, they just won't let up I'm going to have to hide em.
Even the kids selection boxes have started now, especially the Maltesers, I'm gonna have to shut em up.- - - - - "I'm coming - I'm coming" - - - -
