I have just bought an HD Full TV. I have used an HDMI cable as advised but still cannot pick up the HD channels. I have looked into this but am getting more and more confused. Any comments please?

hd full tv means it will accept full 1080p picture
if it said freeview hd or freesat hd equipped on the box it would receive hd channels if not you will have to buy a freesat package or a freeview hd receiver

Hi Redman41

have you subscribed to hd?
You merely have a device which will accept HD transmissions. It's like buying a CD player. You still need to buy some CDs to play on it.
oops didnt read the other answers properly, sorry, you need to subscribe before you get it, like with with sky, but defo worth it
There is useful info about Freeview HD Channels here woof57 ! You will need a Freeview HD Digi Box along with your HD ready TV to view them.
