Missed it tonight cos of the soaps but I have found it to be interesting viewing. Some of them have got seriously bad attitudes and could do with a good slap but I'll still watch it!
Question Author
hi jb,
most of them are coming on great,
but theres one girl, cant think of her name now, but gawdddd has she got an attitude,
i think michel and fred are losing patience with her now..
I've got it on sky+ so must get round to watching it.
Nikita!?
Question Author
its worth a watch sherrard,

yeah jb, nikita, lol, thats the girl!
She's the worst! She had a right gob on her last night in that posh restaurant!
Yes, I'm enjoying it enormously - and I think he has the patience of a saint.
Question Author
she can be good though, when she puts her mind to it,
its just a shame she keeps letting herself down ..
they were really getting a bit weary of her ways tonight, so itll be interesting to see how she gets on ...
Just started watching the first one and was so confused. Thought it was going to be that French bloke (the one from the Restaurant) so glad it's not, can't understand a word he says. Have no idea where that mix up came from.
Question Author
oh i know the one you mean sherrard lol ... i quite like him, hmm and the accent too ;o)
He, Raymond Blanc, has a n incredibly good restaurant in Le Manoir aux Quatre Saisons at Great Milton, near Thame as well as a bistro and another premises, a patisserie, in Oxford. The Manoir is superb and a lovely setting....... Nice prices though - however its one of those don't even quibble about price as it is more than worth the ultimate experience - and even the afternoon tea is out of this world (a little more affordbale)

His cookbook Blanc Vite is excellent for a reasonably proficient cook....some great simple recipes.
With a decent bottle of wine, and who would want to drink cheapo plonk with such wonderful food, you are looking at northwards of 100 a head......
Who's the guy with him?
DT, it isn't Raymond Blanc - it's Michel Roux. I think the fellow the people here are talking about is a top service manager who's involved in the programme - a frenchman called Fred.
Naomi - I know that - read the thread - sherrard's comment on that Frenchman from the Restaurant.
Who is Fred, Naomi? Is he famous?
Question Author
oh i was thinking of a diff french man, oh whats his name now? .. jean christoff novelli...?
but yeah, i think sherrard was onabout the blanc chap wasnt she?

yeah i agree naomi, michel does have the patience of a saint lol.
i like him, he seems a nice fella. i like him on masterchef too.

freds nice :o)
Pope Michel perhaps?
DT, I've read the thread and I don't know what you're saying.. What's Raymond Blanc got to do with anything?

jb, Fred wasn't famous - but he's getting his 15 minutes of fame now. He's an expert service manager commanding a six figure salary. A man possessing a quiet grace - superb!

looby, I like Michel too. A realist!
Question Author
naomi, i think DT was just referring to sherrards comment <<Thought it was going to be that French bloke (the one from the Restaurant>>

yes, i agree with your comment on fred having a quiet grace.i like him.
