I'm pretty sure it was "Going Out of my Head" by Fatboy Slim, from his first album "Better Living Through Chemistry", but it's ages since I've seen that ad.

I think it's "Life in Mono", by Mono. Have I got the right one? It sounds quite French and contains the line "the leaves began to fall", with a harpsichord.
