Just caught up with yesterdays Deal or No Deal, Kitty an opera singer lovely girl, looked quite affluent and boyfriend in the audience looked affluent as well, she said she lived with mum and dad who did so much for her and her little 4yr old daughter but she would like to win enough money for a deposit on a flat. her dad is the well known prolific actor Kevin Whately, can you imagine her not being well looked after! She went away with £14,000. I know everyone is entitled to go on game shows but do you think she was that hard up!!!

Do you have to be hard up to go on the programme? Perhaps she doesn't want to live off her father for the rest of her life, I find that admirable.

Agree it is admirable to earn your own money Kitty or Catherine Whately is an actress and singer in her own right and has appeared in episodes of Auf Wiedersehen Pet, and isn't as hard up as showed. Most contestants on this show say they are there for life changing money. Her winnings were buying her an electric bike and a holiday for her and daughter and boyfriend, no mention of taking mum and dad.
