Did anyone watch this last night? I really really wanted to see it, but was living it large with Lil in town instead. And before anyone states the obvious - no I can't download it or watch it on I-player or whatever its called.
Hopefully I will see next week or maybe it will be repeated at some time?
I'm looking forward to the Cherie Blair episode. And the Alistair Campbell. (I can't stand the former, quite like the latter).
And the Robert Winston episode where he gets a couple of lads to provide sperm samples....
Ah, but just wait squarebear. They did an item on it on Breakfast Time yesterday with the historian chappie and that black American bloke who did maths were on. The really "gobby" girl apparently said to the maths guy at the end of the series, "I really love you sir".
They're not naff 'celebrities' though, are they. They are intelligent, proficient and practised in their particular field. This would not be so interesting if it were the likes of Jordan, Timmy Mallet or Christopher Biggens....
It is but unless these people are someone the children recognise, they will have as much (lack of) respect had it just been a normal substitute teacher.
I think we're all singing off the same hymn sheet squarebear. As experts they should be able to make their subject interesting enough to "break through" as it were.
I enjoyed it BUT what the hell are they doing allowing the kids to take mobile phones in? If it is 'school' enough to wear a uniform surely it is only good manners to at least try and pay attention to people who are trying to give them a chance in a million.
