triggerhappy - I do think there is a genuine gender divide there.

What I find seriously creepy is not that these books proliforate as time goes by, but that my local WH Smith has a section devoted to them, labelled 'Life Stories' or some equally namby-pamby label.

i am really not comfortable with a major book seller highlighting this type of book which can really not offer anything useful to anyone except the strength of the human spirit, combined with the evil that people can do to those close to them.

I'm not reading those types of books anymore. The last one I read I was in a foul mood the whole time I was reading it. OH read it after me and asked why I would put myself through it...

I have never seen this programme but I was bored so I went to the ITV site to have a look at the video clips for this programme. The tall lady is a member of the public and her name is, and I am telling the truth here, Lisa Simpson.

I thought that Lisa Simpson was short and yellow. ;-)
