Sexy voice???? She is a traffic announcer who has been allowed to pad her part as some kind of 'sex symbol' for truckers. The point is, she soulds like what she is, a middle-aged lady reading out travel bulletins - except she is so busy trying to sound 'provocative' that she's unable to read more than two lines of print without either stumbling over her words or strangling on her own saliva.

She should listgen to Bobbie Pryor and hear how its done properly.

It's travel information for heaven's sake, not a saddoes' chat-line!

judging by the regular traffic bulletins, i thnkn she really rather enjoys reading the text feeds from 'fox hat'.

trouble on the m60, where the fox hat .... is reporting an accident etc etc.

Wogan may not have been past it per se, but those vocal inflections were getting seriously exagerated - danger of heading into Jimmy Young territory, and he finished up talking like no-one else on this planet with his whooping and fluting and silly phrases - thank gawd they got rid of him, nasty old right-winger that he is.

His sense of humour reminds me a lot of Les Dawson when he did Blankety-Blank. My ideal layout would be Jeremy Vine for Breakfast, Ken Bruce where he is now, Jimmy Young back at lunchtime with Steve Wright and Simon Mayo where they are now.
