Her husband is recovering from a potentially life-threatening accident in hospital but she still says that she might take the job in Canada after all !

Quite how someone with a brain the size of a squirrel was offered the job in the first place isn't explained.

Poor Chris Carter. I do feel sorry for him being saddled with her.

Hard to believe that she was 'head hunted'.
How would a firm in Canada possibly have come across her, particularly as she found it so hard to find a job in the first place and appears to be a glorified tea girl in her current position.
