This is very sad news for all lovers of good music, David's Sunday night show is the only hour that is set aside by the BBC for this easy listening relaxing music, out of all the many hours that is given out to today's less than relaxing music.

We will miss you David, along with your crystal voice, and the music that you choose to play.

Sadly. I have David in my 'slushy teeth' file - including Margaret Thatcher, John Craven, Hugh Hefner, and I am sure I will think of others - people who vertainly have the money, but have opted for poor dental work making them sound as if their teeth are too big for their mouths.

It puts me right off listening to any of these people - apart from Margaret Thatcher - her monumentally patronising phrases like 'May I just say ...' in a voice that sounded like a cat sliding down a blackboard always did that job before she had her teeth done!
