'blithe Spirit'- The Archers
(What a wonderful title, by the way.) I was really looking forward to Linda Snell's production of this and today discover that it is on in the afternoon just when I have to go to hospital at Poitiers with OH (fury and gnashing of teeth!!). Anyone else really looking forward to it? If the hospital doesn't keep us waiting we may get home to hear the end...frustrated and why does it always work out like this?

That's probably because ExPat Shield comes with extra 'free' software that nobody actually wants. (Almost every free program seems to these days). The solution is simply to check very carefully for any pre-ticked boxes when you install such software (and,of course, to remove the ticks). However ExPat Shield itself has been around for ages and is extremely well-respected, so it shouldn't present any problems.

Lynda Snell's production of Blithe Spirit. And BBC Radio 4 listeners will be able to join them as never before, as the whole production will be broadcast on Boxing Day.
Previously, we have heard extracts of the Ambridge Christmas shows and pantomimes, but this will allow us not only to eavesdrop on the backstage shenanigans, but also enjoy the a full-length adaptation of Noel Coward’s classic story. Julian Rhind-Tutt will play Charles Condomine, the novelist who is haunted by his dead wife after an eccentric clairvoyant accidently summons her.
Julian will be joined by regulars from The Archers cast, including Carole Boyd (Lynda), Joanna Van Kampen (Fallon), Charlotte Martin (Susan) and Michael Cochrane (Oliver).
Blithe Spirit can be heard at 2.15pm on Boxing Day.

I will have a go ladyalex. Zebo - France is very weird - all sorts of things you can't do here. E.g. Used to be able to order books etc. from Amazon UK. Can't do it any more, they've put a stop to it. You can only order from a (very limited) selection at Amazon France - and then there is more of a delivery charge. That's why lots of little enterprises have sprung up collecting and delivering goods from UK. Protectionism is King!
