...recently I was subjected to this DAB radio station for almost 7 hours. Not my kind of thing at all. However the thing that puzzled me was that there were no breaks....no news...no traffic... most importantly no commercial...no breaks at all. How does a radio station stay on air and make money operating like that. Can anyone explain this to me, thanks.

There will be a very loyal fan base who approve of his methods who will be happy to throw a quid or two, no more is needed, at them every now and then.
Sounds a great idea to me. Lots of people listen to these stations through the internet, as well as by DAB radio. You can't get DAB where I live.

Thanks for that Zacs..I like his ideas and they seem to be working.....now bring the same premise to an easy listening station like 'smooth' for example and I'll be well happy.
