The Archers.
Is it just me thinking that Rob is dishing out cups of tea to Helen laced with some kind of sedative ?He seems very keen to keep making sure she drinks them up. Would account for her exhaustion .

( actually, he was found out for what he was, and was sacked a year later ! )
He was a bully and became even worse as time went on. He was completely lacking in any empathy whatsoever.
But something that doesn't quite ring true in the Archers storyline is this...
Everybody, with the exception of Kirsty, seems to be completely taken in by him. Pat and more importantly, Peggy should have seen through him by now. There have been sharp words between Rob and Tony, and Rob and Tom but they haven't amounted to anything. Shula has also had a run-in with him and she is nobodies fool.
Now that Helen is unwell, Pat will want to visit her and Rob will try to put a spanner in the works about that. But if the scriptwriters allow it, then they will make the story even less believable.
There is also the unfinished business of the blocked culvert and the disappearing Polish worker ( whose name I have forgotten ! )
But its a good storyline and has succeeded in making Rob the most hated character in Ambridge for many a long year !

I'm afraid I'm getting a bit paranoid about Rob - I almost don't want to listen until this story has finished ( if it ever will be). The trouble is that it's compulsive listening. Fancy suggesting that about next week (trying not to spoil it for others) but not letting her have the obvious person. What he has suggested will wind her up terribly. It is sometimes difficult to realise it's only fiction, it's so well acted.
