It has to be said, whether you love him or hate him, Ed Milliband is making a very good fist of standing in for Jeremy Vine this week (almost typed 'Kyle' there!!). In my very humble opinion, he is as good as, if not better, than quite a few who have stood in for Vine and Ed has set the bar quite high for DWP to follow, next wek.

Hahahahahahaha. Scratch DWP and insert IDS:-/
Paddy O'Connell is the only one who should be doing that show...imo.
The content of the show is fine, his comments and responses are fine but his voice is not suited to radio.
Question Author
I'd sooner listen to ED, hc, than the simpering Vine. The guy's voice goes right through me and i've taken to switching off between 12 and 2 just lately.
DWP?
I agree Ken, he's done a decent job so far.
But how will he cope on the allotment?
Question Author
Jackdaw, i couldn't be bothered typing his full name and intended to just use his initials. However, whenever i think of Ian Duncan Smith, i think of the job he used to do within Governnment. Hence DWP:-)
Question Author
hc, as long as he doesn't have to eat any of the produce, he should be fine:-)
I see.
Any one is better than that whining, unpleasant Vine. I can't stand him..and he ruins Eggheads.
I like Jeremy Vine :)
Question Author
No-one likes Vine. Not even his wife/mum/kids/dog:-/.

Ed's interviewing his brother David today about the refugee situation.
Does he have to look at a piece of paper every time he introduces a song?
Question Author
How would i know that, Talbot? He's on the radio. Doh!!
er ... This M M Madonna

Doh.

He has done this a few times.
Question Author
You didn't ask if he stuttered. You asked if he was looking at a piece of paper.
He doesn't stutter (As you well know)
He just doesn't seem to be sure what music he his playing.
Question Author
Perhaps he his (sic) not pushing the buttons. Perhaps someone else his (sic) doing that. Perhaps he his (sic) reading from a sheet a paper and cannot read that person's writing. Whatever he his (sic) doing, he has done a decent job this week. Let's see if Mr Duncan-Smith his (sic) any better next week.
:-) :-) :-)
No allotment this week :(
