The Archers

Since we lost Mikey I haven't listened to The Archers at all. I so enjoyed his comments about the programme, it isn't the same any more. I notice no-one else comments about it either.

Lines uttered include "*ydoolb* ramblers; *dos* the rehearsal; hairy *esra*; bottom-kissing" (you need to read the letters between *'s backwards). As if farmers would use such foul language!!!
On the upside though I am glad that Geraldine has left Lower Loxley as I find that actress incapable of acting with any credibility - Bharti Patel who also is in Doctors as Ruhma Hanif/Carter.
Oh yes, another thing, even the Grundys could not be mad enough to try emptying an over loaded chemical toilet using a muck spreader and not expect the muck to spread?

"1/2 Queen of Ambridge amateur theatricals, Lynda Snell, takes charge of this barnstorming new adaptation of Chaucer’s classic tales. Join the cast of The Archers to enjoy stories of courtly love, deadly rivalry and boisterous sex - with a little bit of magic thrown in for good measure.
“A festive feast of spellbinding stories and bawdy banter … Another Lynda Snell triumph!” – The Borchester Echo"
I rather enjoyed it and there is a lot less violence than in the t.v. soaps ;)
