Virgin radio breakfast show

This is a huge long shot but you never know.
A couple of weeks ago or so I was lying in bed listening to the Christian O'Connell breakfast show but not too closely as I didn't have to be up for work; anyway I suddenly became aware that there was an argument going on between Christian and a guest (I don't know who) with the guest shouting something like "that's my fiance you're talking about" and sounding very annoyed and then proceeding to storm out of the room.
Christian was saying "Darren come back . come back" and then went straight to a long record. When the record finished he just said "well Darren has left and I don't think he'll be coming back" and then it wasn't mentioned again.

Anyone know what went on?
