Steve Wrights old woman
3 Answers
Anyone know the name of the lady behind the 'Old woman' character who appears on the show from time to time. She sounds like one of the 'nanas' on the Shredded wheat commercial. Am I right?

I agree with Lord about Steve Wright. I can't stand him either. I stopped listening because a) he all too often fails to announce a song title or performer and b) he thinks he's American. His habit of giving the year as Two Thousand Eight as the Americans do makes me cringe! It's so affected. He also toadies up to whoever he has on his show as a guest. Get rid BBC.
