While there were times I enjoyed gaunty on talksport he was getting very aggressive and rather too big for his boots.
Interrupting guests and ramming his own opinions down people's throats without giving anyone else a chance.
It was supposed to be a phone-in where people share ideas and discuss things.
But he did not discuss anything and mostly allowed the person to say a couple of sentences and then tell them how stupid they were.
I was listening the day he called the guy a nazi and he was really "on fire". He realised he had made a mistake the minute he said it and apologized but I think he had gone too far.
I think Talksport did the right thing to get rid of him when they did.
Thanks VHG I knew he was quite pushy about things he thought about, but most of them was what i agreed with.I was in the hospital for a few months and did not know about this until I was back home to carry on listing to talksport.I will now check up on my emails from talksport to find out what they said about him.
Listening to Mike Parry and Stan Collymore doing topical subjects is just wrong, and while we`re on the subject of Talksport, WTF is Andy Goldstein and Jason Cundy all about?
No wonder Soccer AM got rid of Goldstein, he`s sh!te, and as for Cundy and his missus, the "wag"?? LMFAO
Also note that the guy who owns Talksport is Kelvin MacKenzie, ex Sun editor, and I think he is pals with Mike Parry (they probably worked together in their newspaper days).
I understand Mike Parry may have shares in TalkSport, and he certainly does a lot of back room work that we probably never see.
As long as Kelvin is happy with him I am sure Mike Parry will stay.
