I recently heard an instrumental version of A Day in the Life on Planet Rock which was really good. I missed who performed that version - any ideas please ?

Great to see a fellow Plant Rockee on here. I think it was Jeff Beck. You can check on Last.FM and get to play a snippet to confirm if it was the version you heard.

Gerb - thank you for getting back so fast - you were quite right about Jeff Beck. I usually listen to Planet Rock and like almost all of it except punk rock. Did'nt like that in 1976 and it is no better now. Cheers !
