Does Chris Evans do the breakfast show now? I`m not usually around to listen to it. I always thought he was a prat but when he got over all his problems and started doing the drivetime show, I really liked him. Mind you, if you think Richard Madeley jabbers, have you listened to Nicky Campell in the morning. Now does he waffle?

At least when Wogan was away we got Johnny Walker, and a noticeable improvement in the music.

Personally I wouldn't mind if Evans didn't come back. Perhaps get someone like Johnny Vaughan or Chris Tarrant.

I agree. Is Johnny Walker still alive? I remember listening to him broadcasting the top 20 on Radio 1 on a thursday in the 1970s.

Can't stand Chris Evans and don't listen any more. Thought Richard Madeley was actually must better, at least he listens to what people have to say and isn't me me me all the time. Chris Evans doesn't know when to keep quiet.

Yep, he's on holiday - again! So he gets paid a fortune to not show up at work. Alright for some.

I listen to him in the morning as I can't stand the thought of Moyles but in most other aspects I find him irritating and a show off.

Now who was that northern fella doing it before Chris Evans started? I really liked him and his show and I ended up feeling quite peed off that my morning start consisted of the choice between Chris's Evans and Moyles, neither of which I can stand!

When Evans came to the breakfast show I thought he was quite good, but he soon returned to his old ways, he is an egotistical bully.

I guarantee that if you listebn to him for mor than 15 minutes he will mention, him. This will include news, travel, weather etc. Sports? Him and Johnny did that or will be doing it. A personality? Hes met them. Current affairs? It will be on the One show. Children hes got one you know.

He also has the exceedingly iritating habit of answering his own questions when interviewing people.

Agreed Dave. I used to follow him on Twitter until it became obvious that all he wanted to do was post pictures of his flash cars, how big his car/house/garage are and generally rub all his wealth and importance in your face. The final straw came a couple of weeks ago after he released his new book. He had a lot of people sending him tweets which praised the book and he immediately retweeted them all, as if to say 'look how fabulous I am'.

The sad thing is I have a brother who worships the ground he walks on to the point where he (almost) believes they are actually friends. They do talk every now via Twitter and message boards but it is very odd and my brother will not have a bad word said about Evans.

Now Ken Bruce, he should just be on all day I think. Love him! And he's (nearly) a neighbour too.

I have to agree with you milly143, Ken Bruce is the best on Radio 2.
