Morning all...grey but dry at the moment. What a bloomin lousy day yesterday was. I spent it with a bad 9/10 headache but I didn't miss much...today it's down to about 3/10 so I might get to the shops if I'm lucky.
KBO everyone .....& pooches...
Question Author
this is daft...the last post on a page doesn't show until another one's been made
Question Author
should have said the first post...
Good Morning all. Sorry about your drains Shaney what a pain. I've had to do that in the past so I know how it feels. Hope it gvets sorted ok.
5 Bras Lottie that's a lot in one go. I'm a M & S bra person, one every now and again. By the way I don't where the push up in the summer only when I'm wearing something 'needing' it. Think you'll know what I mean.
A bit dull today but the forecast says it's not going to rain.
I'm eating out again with a friend I only see now and again even though she only lives in a village up the road from me. We met about 51 years ago (crikey!) when we were both in the same circs. and have remained friends ever since even when she married an American and went to live in California for many years.

Hope Shughy feels better today Woofy.

I'm going for a bit of a walk in a bit. Not been for one since Sunday.

See yer later 'gater(s) Have a good day All.
Hi Robi just spotted you after I'd posted - hope your headache gets totally better today. Might bump into you down shops,
Don't get this number of posts business this should be number 6 but it's 5 innit.
Hi everybody,

Oh dear Robi, hope the headache continues to get better.

Woofy, hope Shughy is improving.

Jude, 4 bras, because at £4.00 or £4.50 each, and being the type I like and quite pretty I didn't think I could lose out. Tried them on and they are every bit as good, if not better than M&S. The two tops, one short and one tunic at £10.00 each were also very good. Asda has some really good ladies clothes and I didn't realise. Shall make the effort to go again, it's on my way into Norwich I don't even have to go into the city or pay for parking.

I also bought an Asda illuminated stainless steel kettle for £15.00
(Absolutely hate Asda for food shopping and for the general atmosphere. But they even have a special checkout in the clothes section for clothing!!)
Lottie They are bargains. I do buy Asda clothing sometimes and have had some decent tops. I don't food shop there either. x
Hello all Shughy is fine now and bombing around the garden with his bro treading in the mud on my clean floors. It must be the weather, I am having a slow start again today.
Hi all
Back from the market but it was damp and foggy and wasn't going to sit on the damp seats eating chips so brought some cockles home .Got a jacket for the old chap who's 66 on Sunday and I was amazed that he actually liked it !
He's a fussy so and so for clothes .
Only one of those sleeveless things with lots of pockets .Why he wants all those pockets is a mystery .But that's what he wanted and that's what he's got :)

Yes the drains are a bugger Neti .I lifted four manhole covers yesterday
( which did my back the world of good) and they were all clear .I can only assume it's grease or something stuck in the T outlet .Anyway it seems Ok after a bottle of bleach ,a packet of soda crystals ,loads of boiling water,a plunger and a whole hosts of words which I won't repeat but mainly began with F.
I don't think the drains here were laid with dishwashers ,washing machines etc in mind .We've already had it repaired not all that long ago .

Asda do some nice clothes Lofty .I've bought several odds and ends in there but I don't like them for food shopping particularly .I only used to buy the Polish bread there really but they've got Roggenbrot in Morrisons now .
I've bought bras in Bonne Marche lately .Just as nice as Marks and half the price.

Hope bad heads soon clear up and any other assorted aches and pains any of you may have .Be good ..see you later .
Lottie, is there a new series of Mrs Brown's boys as I've just downloaded one call SuperMammy where she takes LSD and it was so funny, I really laughed out loud which is unusual for me!

a'noon...I won't say good because it wasn't, neither head nor healthwise. It's been dull and cold and my head's been thumping but it's easing a bit now and I wanted to buy my lotto online before I forgot. So much for the new medication, tut. I'll be going back early for my follow appointment up at this rate.

I hate our nearest Asda store so I never go, I swear it's got sick building syndrome. The more people I tell I feel unwell in there the more I find who agree. I actually like a lot of Sainsbury's clothes, the best things go quickly but lately people have become wise and wait until they do 25% off which is every few weeks it seems.

My drain joins next door and when we were once blocked at the junction my neighbour admitted she'd been using those flushable mop things to clean the loo. Whether that was the cause we don't know but she did stop using them.

Keep ya winter drawers on, we've got some chilly weather on't way.

I should have said 'neither weather nor healthwise'...oh booger, I can't think straight :o)
Gone of my new car and it's super super Class 1 alarm system. Been setting off alarms all over town and then managed to lock myself in the car with the alarm going :o(

Cash dispenser at Lloyds gave me ten pounds short. Lloyds said I had to complain to my own bank who would take it up with them. Mini Statement at my own back confirmed I had asked for ten pounds more than I got. A long form had to be filled in at my bank for them to send to Lloyds!!!

Troll next door is playing up again and causing problems.

Just eaten three giant oat and raisin cookies.

The end!!
Just ordered this - I love the style and colour

http://www.marksandsp...sr=1-3&qid=1327511709

It wasn't there yesterday when delivery was free!!!
Lovely dress Lottie, lovely colour too.
Oh Robi, I am sorry you feel rough, yes do go back to the doc early and threaten him with biddy power if he gets awkward. My new car has a button to press that stops the alarm going off if the dogs fidget when they are left in the car...I almost never remember to set it and am getting adept at sprinting back across the carpark!
Busy day...its nice to feel properly tired for a change.
Night night all. Feel well tomorrow.
God morning (well it is here) just popped in to have a look at you all .Despite l the achesand pains still a very lively lot!
When I go shopping and anyone asks how are you I always reply Fine ! even though my back is killing me -just been told I have a slipped disc and osteoarthritis in my spine -not a lot can be done -going to the Physio for a couple of sessions .
But I think I was programmed from a very young age to say Fine !
Garden looking more and more like a jungle but virtually unable to do anything about it .The hot weather and downpours of rain encourage it all to grow too fast especially the weeds and the Rogue grass (I call it that because it gets out of hand ) .Anyway enough of my problems ,I hope you all have better days to come as the Winter rolls on .
Love to all Dolly xxxx
