Do you remember Dick, Jock & Snowy?
Along with Paul Temple, Just William, Appointment with Fear, Into Battle. Family Favourites etc.
What other such programmes you would like to listen to once again, from that long gone age of Radio?
Switch on the Radio these days and it is wall to wall pop music, sport, or useless chatter.

Don't you listen to the excellent Radio 7 then, AOG? or to Radio 4? or to Radio 3 (perhaps for the jazz and world music)? or to Classic FM?
Dick Barton was broadcast on Radio 7 in March of both 2008 and 2009, so it's probably due for another airing fairly soon. (Paul Temple is currently being transmitted on Radio 7).
Many of my old favourites are frequently on Radio 7, including Beyond Our Ken, Round the Horne, The Navy Lark, The Clitheroe Kid, The Men from the Ministry and many more (including Educating Archie, which MurrayMints likes).
However I'd like to hear some of the old Johnny Morris programmes, where he (apparently) travelled to many countries and met the locals.

I think that you're referring to 'Journey Into Space', which is frequently repeated on Radio 7.

Yes all those and don't forget 'Mrs Dales Diary' I had the job of listening to the cricket for my dad when he was at work to give him a blow by blow commentry when he got home. Then I was allowed to listen to 'Radio Luxemburg' i also remember 'The Ovalteenies'. - 'The Radio Show' was broadcast live from Earls Court, I had chicken pox at the time and was isolated to The Front Parlour.
