Social Workers.
32 Answers
I have just been watching Big Brother, there are twins called Sam & Amanda from Stoke they are 18 yrs old. They were sucking pink striped lollies and screaming like 2 year olds, jumping on beds and generally being a pain in the neck. They say that they are both studying to be Social Workers (God help us). Do you think that they will be good ones when they mature. If you didn't see them then watch tomorrow, it is painfull.

I have always liked the BB programme ( I know Im sad) but this time I cannot for the life of me see what all these brainless bimbos can bring to this programme except rubbish. Channel 4 have definately got it wrong. The look on Leslies' face when she realised that most of her fellow housemates where screaming banshees with peanuts between their ears was priceless.

Very sorry to hear about your Mum pussnboots.
I really admire your sister Patricia - it takes a special person to make a good social worker.
Having said that, we had an aquaintance who was a social worker manager & I can tell you, that at home, she was as weird as they come! She also kept marijuana in an Oxo tin in the kitchen cupboard & often got it out & rolled up in front of us, her friends & worst of all, her teenage children! We were quite surprised given her occupation, but she didn't bat an eyelid!
As I say, she was aquaintance - not a 'real' friend of ours!

It is very hard to believe that these two retrobates are going to become social workers but at the moment they are acting up for the cameras, although their past history doesn't look good either. I can only hope they either drop out of this type of job or grow up fast but it is doubtful and very scary isn't it!
Doubt it! The best social workers are folk that have been through it themselves. It's often a very thankless job and there are many bad ones and decisions that people will disagree with, they are responsible for a lot of heartache sometimes. Don't think those twins are ideal material though although they are eye candy and teenage boys may respond well to them on that basis alone.
