So did you think the right person won? I was gutted. It all came down to popularity in the end and not who worked well in a kitchen. Barry couldnt run a kitchen to save his life and got so stressed. Adele should have won.

yep.......... i voted 3 times for adele!!

saying that....... i also think barry is a nice guy but as you said, adele ran the kitchen very well where as barry lost his rag!!

The whole thing is a popularity contest anyway. I would have liked Adele to win as she seemed to manage very well in the kitchen. Saying that though, Barry comes across as a very nice bloke, and so I really don't mind he won.

I didn't really mind who won but I was glad in the end that Barry won, he seemed to have the harder job on the night what with getting the more difficult menu, some of his meals getting dropped and having a run in with the guy whose name I can't remember!

But he still managed to come out with the higher score!

Adele got on my nerves from day 1 with her constant squealing and shrieking and that silly baby-like handclap she does. If there had been a vote to nominate someone to be fed into a mincing machine, I would have been on the phone like a shot.
Angus was right to take the mickey out of her mother - she looked like a caricature of an ageing East End barmaid.
