BB tasks

Seems a bit tactless to me that some of these tasks are not ideal for Mikey. It seems the others are not keen on him doing the alarm clock thing, even though his sense of hearing is probably better than most. Mo dismissed the idea of shifts to fill the sand and turn clocks off, but I thought that would be the best way to do things if the task goes on overnight. Mikey must feel quite excluded at times.

He was criticised for knocking some over. If they were on the wall it would be different. Sorry I didnt explain properly.
My 12yrs old son said the same to me last night. But then said Mikey would be able to do the sand-timer. Mikey was excellent at the counting (human clock) task and made us laugh when he asked Kat if she counted to 300 to which she replied "Yes" then Mikey said "Twice"... that task was funny. It's ridiculous to think Mikey could do the alarm tasks, he can only hinder. I thought the same with the riverdance & trredmills, feeling more sorry for him becasue it was a visual task that he couldn't see.
Must admit, i too have felt a bit sorry for Mikey lately as well. I wish he'd been picked for Heaven this week, just so he can have a little luxury. He doesn't really do anything wrong and life must be hard for him, so it would have been nice. After all, lets face it, it doesnt take much to keep him happy, a bit of chocolate ! I think Lisa has been a good friend to him and she has shown absolute class throughout all of the heaven and hell stuff. She could have moaned but she hasnt really and just gets on with it. I really like her.
Yes I agree that Lisa has been very good and seems to genuinely want to help. I do feel more thought should go into these tasks - if they are happy to have a blind person in the house, then they need to ensure that everyone can join in. Poor Mikey should not have to be left out. I think it is careless and thoughtless. I am sure he would like to contribute more.
By the way I am not a big Mikey fan.
