Have the X Factor Judges gone mad? Scott was clearly the better vocalist, yet the sympathy card for Daniel won him an xtra night! As the eagles song goes GET OVER IT!
It's a talent show not a simpathy show!!!! I Understand Daniels personal situation been there, but I do think we should judge within the parameters of the show..........

Before Daniel sang his song, he mentioned that he was singing it for his dead wife. So automatically got the sympathy vote.

Yes, poor man lost his wife, but he cant bring it up continually.

Scott should of gone through.

Goodness me, I have every sympathy for Daniel having lost his dear wife and my heart goes out to the guy. But I really felt that he was 'laying it on abit' with all that stuff about 'singing for his wife' and I swear he was just faking the tears at the end of the song, it just didn't feel real, (even though the judges and most of the audience seem to fall for it hook line and sinker). Im usually the first one to get emotional and weepy about that sort of thing whether its on TV or otherwise but I dunno, something just didnt feel genuine about it.

before the sing off the judges said they were going to base it on that and not what had gone on before.

Scott totally lost it at being in the bottom two and sang as if this was the case. Simon looked disgusted during his final song.

Therefore there was little option for the other judges but to save Daniel. Furthermore, had Louis made it another tie I feel Scott would have been bottom of the public vote anyway.

poor scott. He looked devastated! I bet he was thinking "How can i compete with a dead wife?!"
I too get very emotional (at yellow pages ads etc - lol) but wasn't moved at all by Daniel's performance.

Personally I think that Louis only voted for Daniel so that one of Simon's acts got sent home! Even if he was moved by the performance, he repeatedly said how much he thought Daniel shouldn't be there prior to this performance

Scott has the better voice. To be honest Daniel is no better than any average singer you can listen to in clubs and hotels all over the place. He got the sympathy vote and Louis' tears were absolutely pathetic!! I am also fed up with hearing that the over 60's are all supporting Daniel - I for one am not.

I think Scott would have been next to go, but it was just not fair on Saturday and makes the whole show even more of a farce and put up job than it is already.
