Just saw a clip of them skating.
They make it look effortless.
I think they always have done so. They are wonderful to watch IMO.

The complete, absolute pinnacle was (and is) Bolero.

I know I forgot to ask a question, but there is no question to ask about those two skaters. :)

If TV was to do itself a favour, screen a lot of their performances.

I absolutely love them too.

I also used to like Nicky Slater and Karen Barber, although they weren't so good as Chris and Jane.

Just my opinion alba, but I think the Bolero has got over rated. The short programme dance they did in the same year I think was better. Its the Paso Doble and has to be repeated 3 times. As you probably know, in Paso the lady is the matador's (gentleman's) cape. Even when skating onto and off the ice Jayne was 'draped' over Chris' shoulder. I just think its miles better and would like to see the DOI boys and girls try it for a change.

I'd clean forgotten about their Paso Doble. (sp)
Wonderful interpretation. I wish it was shown more often than the Bolero now !!

I still think they are absolute top-class professionals who are a joy to watch. My OH doesn't like watching skating but makes an exception for them.
