I dsiagree with your assessment of Craig Gazey. If you had seen him performing in other roles you would agree that he is a fine young actor. He is responding to the scripts and stage directions he is given in Corrie, much the same as Kate Ford who plays Tracy.

I don't care about unbelievable storylines, It's all part of the "chuckle factor". When John was suddenly back in his own kitchen creating more ludicrous lies, it did make me chuckle.

Joeluke is correct, it has utterly ruined Coronation St having homosexuals, lesbians, a trans-sexual and now a transvestite in it. As for John Stape (note the "e" on his name, Bobbisox), we watch it because it is amusing and we want to see what the character does next, not because we believe in it. I think he'll probably lock up the rest of the cast in various cellars and attics and then leave to join Emmerdale and do it all over again !
