crafty - I suggest you check out your library and get Sers One out on DVD.

In comon with a lot of intelligent American dramas, they have background stories that are chronological, and they expect you to keep up, so if you join in on what's happening now, a lot of what regular viewers know will be lost on you.

It is utterly fascinating - and the books are excellent as well - 'Darkly Dreaming Dexter' by Jeff Lindsay will get you hooked -

If you like your TV drama classy. well acted and beautifully scripted; with a very dark edge to the humour; this is for you. But not for the faint hearted or narrow minded. Could be the best ever TV series.

season 5 isn't as good as the previous 4 seasons but from what im reading season 6 will be awsome as Dexter gets back to his old self.

I got it a little wrong, it isn't the actual theme but its used throughout each episode.

yep, seen Season 5 - it is absolutely brilliant- apparently they have just starting shooting Season 6 on the 27th May according to their website.
