dr who last night

Been a poor series but I thought the final explained a lot, I actually enjoyed it

it didn't really explain it to me :) why dosen't river just call herself whatever it was that amy named her?
also, it's quite unusal to spilt the series into 2 isn't it?

There is no reason for river not to change her name she is a time-lord and his name is not really Dr Who is it? As for splitting the series in two I guess they want to make sure we come back

The series head honcho Steven Moffat claimed it was so viewers didn't tire of it halfway through a long series and think "oh Dr Who is on tonight, let's give it a miss and catch up next week".

More like the BBC is stretching a high profile show to save money by showing it in spring and autumn.

Great effects and look but poor stories which you would not watch again (unlike the classic Pertwee and Baker years).

i'm presuming it was she who killed the doctor in the space suit in the first episodes then?

Also Amy Pond shot the young girl in the spacesuit so probably shot her own daughter.

Actually she missed. When she shot the girl, she missed.
Also, I've watched every episode three times. I love it.

I've always been a Dr Who fan from the very beginning (showing my age now!) David Tenant was my favourite - the first fanciable Doctor, but I like Matt Smith and Amy and Rory. I think the storylines just get better.

Mat smith is killing the Doctor.....viewing fiures are down....his acting is camp.....worst Doctor ever. Yet today I read he is staying for next series.Seems I am not alone in my views as many people I know have given up this series.it was always going to be hard to follow David Tennant (possibly the best Doctor ever) but I am sure there is better talent around than the Herman Munster lookalike Mat Smith.
