I'm at work this evening and I'm missing it, but I love that programme! No idea what possesses people to reveal all, why on earth would you? But I do find it facinating.
Why indeed ? !
One episode I saw featured a bloke who was complaining about a "fishy smell" coming from his meat 'n' two veg. It turned out to be just regular schmeg/personal hygeine issues Have people got no pride ?
i was channel hopping the other evening, and momentarily saw a man who was grossly overweight and his testicles were, how to put this delicately over large, i feel this is just another exploitative programme, i mean if you can't go your own GP with the problem, why would you put it all out there on TV.
em 10 if it was mon night it was his stomach not his testicles and it was sad but gross, when the cut it all off i was nearly sick - it weighed over 6 stone, the poor bloke
I also don't think they are too embarrassed to see their GP's. It's probably a case of being fobbed of with pills, lotions and potions. At least if they appear on the show they are almost guaranteed a solution to their problem.
Like the woman who had 'tubular' boobs. Not a high priority for the NHS to deal with but confidence shattering for her. She shows her boobs on the show....and gets her boob job. Well worth it I would say.
I'd probably flash my bits if I had anything interesting or unusual, or an empathatic affliction that would help others. But they'd have to alter my voice and blur out my face. Gawd, my friends would never let me forget it.
I find it interesting, on the rare occassion I catch it whilst searching for something adequate to watch. Mind you, if I had a life I'd not be channel hopping in the first place ;-)
Aye. It seemed fairly likely to me that it was a sweat/grease problem, probably exasperated by the excess weight. But I suppose it is always nice to get a professional opinion to be sure. But why didn't she tackle the problem with that assumption before flashing her rear to the camera though?
