Horizon - What rubbish that program was, they spent 40 minutes getting to the point, some of the science was floored and they made up for it by showing pretty pictures and asking how much coffee was drunk last night.
I'm shocked how they got away with making such a beautiful looking but empty program.

In fairness, I had it on, but it failed to capture my attention much since I wasn't aware of anything new being divulged. Now I wonder if I should have paid more attention to the pretty pictures. But that said, the NASA site usually has load of nice pictures anyway. Other sites too.

Sorry for saying "floored", that's quite bad considering I'm a science teacher.
What really got my back up during that Horizon program was all the talk about neutrinos. The search has been running for years yet Horizon made it sound as though it was cutting edge science. Money for neutrino research has been drying up in recent years. Many scientists have been made to go back to the drawing board to re-think the theory, why didn't they tell us that?
