The Killing
Really enjoying The Killing - the american version. Didn't watch the original Danish show so I have no comparison. Great story - very gripping at the moment. Nice to see a show with unfamiliar faces, very unusual for a US show they usually have to have a star or two in top billing.

I am watching both at the moment. Started watching the US version and now watching the Danish one. Will have to be careful after this week as I think they start to catch up and if the Danish one is being shown 4 nights a week it will spoil watching the US.
The Danish one is much more drawn out, with other subplots and details (the girl's injuries etc.) and it is 7 episodes longer.
Really like both, and I think the acting is superb, I think the US version has the best actors.

I watched the Danish version and was completely absorbed by it......fantastic TV and worth paying the TV Licence for, on its own.
I started to watch the American version but I'm afraid it suffered from both being too similar and too different from the original......
I agree that Mireille Enos is perfectly cast as the 'still' centre to all that goes on around her.....but she's simply NOT Sofie Gråbøl.
